- Description
- This is a Sources Sought Notice requesting information for market research purposes in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10 Procedures. This is not a solicitation, nor does it guarantee a solicitation will be issued. Requests for a solicitation will not receive a response. This is not a request for proposals and it does not obligate the government in any manner. See attachment for more information: The Department of Commerce (DOC), National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS) Pacific Islands Science Center (PIFSC) has a potential need for a vessel charter to support Coral Reef Monitoring Program operations, Cetacean surveys, Protected Species Northwest Hawaiian Islands field camp deployment and recovery, Pelagic/Fisheries Oceanography operations, and Life History Research Operations. See the below statement of work for vessel requirements. Survey schedules are not finalized for January 2023, so the Government is especially interested in 1) Minimum number of days per survey vendors need to consider proposing and 2) minimum timeframe to provide notice for survey start dates.
