Description
AMC/A9, the Air Component of the Joint Distribution Process Analysis Center (JDPAC), provides analyses, assessments, and lessons learned inputs for decisions on air mobility operations and policy to Headquarters Air Mobility Command (HQ AMC), US Transportation Command (USTC), and 18th Air Force leadership. AMC/A9 also gathers, warehouses, compiles, and distributes data for the AMC Lessons Learned Program. It conducts critical air mobility force structure studies spanning more than 850 global locations. Its analyses influence decisions reached by HQ USAF, the Office of the Secretary of Defense, the Joint Chiefs of Staff, and Congress as they set policies regarding research, development, and acquisition decisions. AMC/A9 develops and uses sophisticated computer modeling, simulation, mathematical techniques and programs to assess the impact of decision alternatives and economic trade-offs on the Global Transportation Network (GTN). It also regularly interacts with analyticalagencies across the government, industry, and academia. To perform its missions, AMC/A9 utilizes multiple global airlift and tanker computer models for evaluating air mobility capability in peacetime and wartime scenarios. These models range from various spreadsheet-based approaches to large-scale models and simulations such as the Air Mobility Operations Simulation (AMOS) and the Combined Mating and Ranging Planning System (CMARPS). The contractor shall provide system administration and maintenance capabilities for AMC/A9's classified (both SIPRNET and internal non-SIPRNET) and unclassified (NIPRNET) networks. Support for AMC/A9's military and civilian personnel is detailed in this PWS. The primary purpose of this order is to obtain the requisite expertise through contract resources to support the following activities related to supporting the HQ AMC/A9. (See attached PWS) This requirement is a potential follow-on to Contract FA4452-18-F-0054, currently being performed by Sumaria Systems Inc. (large). The Government is contemplating use of Firm Fixed-Price CLINs. Acquisition History: Contract Number: FA4452-18-F-0054 Contract Type: FFP Incumbent and their size: Sumaria Systems Inc. (large) Method of previous acquisition: Competitive via NC-2 NetOps IDIQ
