Description

The Navy is soliciting bids for the lease of 8.67 acres of unimproved land for commercial business operations located at NAS Jacksonville, FL. The GOVERNMENT�s only criteria for selecting the winning Bidder is price (i.e., the amount of rent that the Bidder will pay to the GOVERNMENT to lease the Leased Premises). Lease bids less than Fair Market Value of $45,000 per year will not be considered; note this is separate and distinct from the requirement under Section 3.a. of this Invitation For Bids to provide a one-time start-up fee of $25,751. If a lease is awarded, then the Bidder that offered the GOVERNMENT the highest-priced bid for the Leased Premises will be awarded the lease. If the term of the Lease does not include optional renewal terms, then the highest-priced bid will be the bid with the greatest sum of rents for the entire term of the lease. If the term of the Lease includes an initial term followed by one or more optional renewal terms, then the highest-priced bid will be the bid with the greatest sum of rents for the initial term plus all optional renewal terms.
