Description

This is a Request for Information (RFI)/Sources Sought. There is no solicitation at this time. This request for capability information does not constitute a Request for Quotes (RFQ). Submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any information or costs incurred. All costs associated with responding to this notice will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this notice does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if any is issued. 1.0 PURPOSE OF THE RFI The 144th Fighter Wing (FW) is issuing this sources sought as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to meet our requirement for a JLG articulating boom lift repair service. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. 2.0 DESCRIPTION: The 144th Fighter Wing has a JLG 600AJ Articulating Boom Lift that requires repairs. The following identifiable tasks require completion: Provide and install new horn. Provide and install new manual box holder with a new operation and safety manual matching JLG model. Repair exhaust manifold with new muffler, tube, and exhaust tube. Remove and install new upper radiator hose, thermostat/gasket, and antifreeze. Remove and install new jib lift cylinder and holding valve, brake parts cleaner, and hydraulic oil. Install hoses in boom. Hoses will be provided by the customer. Repair and install new rear mail seal and replace breather hose. Replace and install 4 new tires. 3.0 HOW TO RESPOND: Responses to this Sources Sought notice do not bind the Government to any agreement with the responder, be it explicit or implied.
