CSAS and the DLC, in coordination with Veterans Health Administration Innovation Ecosystem, in coordination with Initiative to End Diabetic Limb Loss at VA (TIEDLLV), aims to establish a new standard of care in diabetes treatment which includes the use of remote technology to diagnose and help treat diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) and the prevention of related complications such as major amputations. Remote temperature monitoring (RTM) is early detection that monitors at-risk Veterans in their personal environment using daily temperature measurements of their foot. Site Information: DLC Training Room & Other Conference Room Availability: Wi-Fi, the DLC does have its own Wi-Fi that attendees can connect to for VPN. We can offer some office supplies such as Flipcharts, pens, and sticky pads.  We do not have whiteboards in the training room currently.   We are working on the overhead projection system that displays onto two screens in the front of the room when a laptop is hooked up.  I have conferred with our IRM team, and they have stated they will be available to assist with getting laptops hooked up if displays are needed to utilize the projection system.  Additional Information: Security & Building Access: The building is locked 24/7 and we do not have a security guard on staff, so we would ask that ahead of the conference that an attendee listing be provided to Chris Binkley @ Christopher.binkley@va.gov and Randy Blevins @ randy.blevins@va.gov. We request that POC within your working group is identified to stay near the front entrance to let folks in and sign in attendees each day as they arrive at the DLC.   Canteen Services: The Denver Logistics Center does not have a canteen but does have a couple of vending machines (snacks & soda) in our breakroom.   Additionally, a Keurig Machine is in the break room (K-cups and tea can be purchased for $1.00).    For lunch breaks, there are a few close by vendors (within a mile): Subway, Ricci s Pizza, Croc-Of-Soup Café (soups, salads, sandwiches), and Jack-n-the-Box.  Further down the road is Colorado Mills Shopping Area (approximately 3-5 miles from the building); there are several restaurants, fast food chains, shopping, and movie theater.  Parking: We request that conference attendees use the North-East Parking Lot while attending the conference. (Attachment to be shared with conference attendees).
