Description

The USFS intends to host an Airtanker Industry Day in Boise, ID on June 7, 2022 at 10AM. We anticipate that the meeting will ne nore more than 3 hours long. The primary focus of this meeting will be to discuss the Draft Airtanker MATOC RFP and the written responses we've received. The final location is TDB but will be posted shortly. We are limiting the number of in-person participants from each vendor to 3. There will be a virtual option for those that can't attend in person. An Agenda for the meeting will posting before the June 7 meeting. The event will be held at the following location: Best Western Vista Inn 2645 W Airport Way Boise, ID 83705 Bitterroot Room 1000-1200 Registration/Sign-In from 9AM-10AM Event runs 10AM-12PM (can potential go longer if necessary) Please e-mail Matthew.Olson@usda.gov and Leslie.Casavan@usda.gov a list on your in-person attendees by June 3. Finalized Agenda to be posted next week. UPDATE::::::: We will not be able to finalize the answers to questions submitted insreponse to the draft RFP before Industry Day. Our intent is to use discussions tomorrow to help us finalize some of the answers. We will post answers as soon as they're completed and before the finalized RFP is issued. Those interested in the virtual option should send in a request to Matthew.Olson@usda.gov, Leslie.Casavan@usda.gov and Justin.Bohannan@usda.gov. Once that link is created we will e-mail the link to all of those who have reached out about that option. Finalized Agenda is attached.
