Page 5 of 5 Page 5 of 5 Control Panel to be replaced has no disconnect in the vicinity. The tag on the control panel indicated it is being feed from SWBD ESDS-1. Where is this in relationship/distance to the area of work? Answer: PANEL ESDA-1E ckt. 12,14,16 Any AS-BUILTS from installation available? Thickness of steel? Installation date? Answer: There are no documents of installation, no information available on the thickness of the steel, and no record of as-builts on file. What is the actual depth of the existing pit? Answer: The measured depth from the bottom to the top of the tank is 8 feet. Is the bottom of the existing pit steel or earth? Answer: There is no record of what the bottom of the tank is made of. What is the current thickness of the steel at the bottom of the pit? We would need to know this to determine the ability to securely install the new sump pumps. Answer: There is no record of how thick the bottom of the pit's material is. The contractor may have to drill a test hole to measure the thickness of the tank then repair the hole afterwards. If material is inadequate, the contactor will have to reenforce the bottom to support the pumps and motors. This amendment extends the due date for quotes from 12:00 Noon Pacific Daylight Time on June 8, 2022 to 12:00 Noon Pacific Daylight Time on June 14, 2022.
