- Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Tanzania will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The Embassy of the United States of America in Dar es Salaam invites you to submit a proposal for janitorial services. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government.� All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. This is a fixed price with economic price adjustment requirements type contract under which will be issued firm, fixed-price task orders. The Government is planning a site visit. Please see the solicitation for details when it is released. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database at https://www.sam.gov at time of proposal submission. Any offeror not registered at that time may be deemed non-responsible with no further consideration given pursuant to FAR provision 4.1102(a). Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register immediately upon reading this notice if interested in submitting an offer.
