- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. SOLICITATION #: FA483022- Q0020 This combined synopsis/solicitation is issued as a Request For Quotes EOD Portable X-Ray. Additional Details: 820 BDG has the need to be able to take images of the internal structure and composition of myriad shapes, sizes, and materials. We need a platform that is fairly rugged, so that it can be used in inhospitable environments. �We need a platform that allows us to operate it remotely, in the event that the act of passing x-rays triggers the explosive train. �It needs to be relatively light and compact for ease of transportation. �An overly large, bulky, or heavy system will be underutilized in operational missions, having to make way for other equally, or more necessary equipment and/or materiel. �The remote communication package cannot interfere with our robotics platform, our communications platform, or our remote firing system. �The x-ray system must not require internet connectivity, it must be on a stand-alone platform. �There must be accompanying software to allow for the adjustment of images that have been taken. �It must allow for images to be stored in multiple common file types, to include, but not limited to, PDF, JPEG, BMP, PNG, and GIF. �It must also come with a parts and service warranty.
