Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source: 2022 WAPA Leadership Summit A/V Rental Services The Department of Energy (DOE) / Western Area Power Administration (WAPA) intends to issue a single source award to Encore Group (USA) LLC for the Audio Visual (A/V) rental support services for the 2022 WAPA Leadership Summit to be held on July 18, 2022 through July 22, 2022, in Embassy Suites, Denver, CO. The resulting procurement will be conducted in accordance with FAR parts 12 and 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 532490, and the size standard is $35M. This is an intent to sole source for commercial items prepared in accordance with FAR Subpart 5.2, Synopses of Proposed Contract Actions. This notice of intent is for information purposes only. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. No solicitation package will be publicly issued. Responsible sources may submit a capability statement in response to this requirement, which shall be considered by the Agency. If no responses are received within five calendar days after publication of this notice, to demonstrate comparable capability, then a sole source acquisition award will be made. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Inquiries will only be accepted via e-mail to Jermaine Villareal at villareal@wapa.gov. No telephone requests will be honored.
