- We are conducting market research for a new requirement, and identifying potential sources capable of providing and installing door hinges at Kirtland Air Force Base. See attached specifications, design, and dimension documents. This is for planning purposes only, and no solicitation is available at this time.� The Air Force does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or to otherwise pay for the information provided. Could you please provide your willingness and capability? Please also provide all of your listed socioeconomic programs (e., Hub-Zone certified, Women Owned Small Business, Economically Disadvantage Women Owned Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business etc). The purpose of this market research is to determine your company�s capability. 377 Mission Support Group (MSG)/PKC is expecting this requirement to result in a Firm-Fixed-Price contracts. NAICS code is anticipated to be 237990, size standard of $39.5 million. The anticipated PSC/FSC code is C1AZ. We would greatly appreciate your response at your earliest convenience. It is the end of fiscal year, and need to have a path forward as soon as possible. Within the capability statement, the contractor shall provide and answer the below questions. 1.������� What is the weight (in lbs), size, type, and location of the largest door you FABRICATED hinges for? Was this a new install or a repair/replacement? �2.������� What is the weight (in lbs), size, type, and location of the largest door you DESIGNED new hinges for? Was this a new install or a repair/replacement? 3.������� Provide all experience (to include dates and locations) that involved large hinge replacement that required design, fabrication, installation, and management. 4.������� Provide all experience (to include dates and locations) working at HIGHLY secure Government facilities in the U.S. 5.������� What Design options and capabilities (i.e. engineering expertise) does your company and/or subcontractor(s) have?� Please Indicate whether capability is in house or with a subcontractor.� Provide name(s) of subcontractor(s). 6.������� What Fabrication options and capabilities (i.e. manufacturing technology & methods) does your company and/or subcontractor(s) have?� Please Indicate whether capability is in house or with a subcontractor.� Provide name(s) of subcontractor(s). 7.������� Can your installation team support seven straight days of work to include weekends? 8.������� Provide technical approach to replace large hinges on a door that requires design, fabrication, installation (to include mobilization), and management. 9.������� What equipment and tools would your company bring to the site to repair/replace large hinges? 10.����� What measurements and tools would you utilize to ensure proper alignment and functionality of large doors during and after installation?
