Background: The Functional Genomics group of the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), Division of Preclinical Innovation (DPI) requires a kit named Human Apolipoprotein B kit"". This type of assay is an ApoB assay featuring a streamlined protocol with only one incubation step following the sample/calibrator and antibody conjugates dispensing. The antibodies labelled with HTRF donor and acceptor may be pre-mixed and added in a single dispensing step to further streamline the assay procedure. This protocol requires a single 3-hour incubation period at RT. The group uses these kits to screen siRNA libraries for the collaborations they have with other institutes. This type of assay is homogenous which can be miniaturized into 384 well plate format and thus ideally suited for high throughput applications. Purpose and Objectives: The purpose of this acquisition is to acquire four (4) units of Perkin Elmers HTRF Human Apolipoprotein B kit or Equal that meet all salient characteristics. The salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics that equal products must meet are specified in the purchase description below. Purchase Description: Perkin Elmers HTRF Human Apolipoprotein B kit or Equal Salient characteristics: The following salient characteristics are necessary for the requested supplies: 1) Combination of homogenous, mix-and-read assay formats and Fluorescence Energy Transfer (FRET) 2) Does not require pre-coating the plate or plate washing like conventional ELISA assays 3) Validated to detect the lowest concentration of cAMP(IC50) 4) Validated with Gs agonist and antagonist compounds Delivery Date: Within 60 days after receipt of order Capability statement /information sought: Respondents must provide clear and convincing documentation of their capability of providing the equipment specified in this notice. The respondent must also provide their UEI number, organization name, address, point of contact, and size and type of business (e.g., 8(a), HubZone, etc., pursuant to the applicable NAICS code and any other information that may be helpful in developing or finalizing the acquisition requirements.
