Description
The purpose of this source sought is to determine if the items listed can be procured competitively. This is not a Request for Quotation or Request for Proposal, this notice is for information only and no procurement costs will be paid. If the item described below can be procured, please provide the technical specifications and a picture of the item.�� PRODUCT DESCRIPTION DoDEA has a requirement for Hand-Held Terminals to support inventory management of accountable property within the 3 Regions: Americas, Europe, and Pacific.� There are eight district offices and 160 schools located in 11 foreign countries, 7 states, and 2 territories. The hand-held terminals/barcode scanners will be used to conduct accountable property inventories at the Regions, districts and schools.� Accountable property consists of computers, laptops, switches, servers, vehicles, etc.� Some of the barcode labels that will be scanned are in very tight spaces.� The device should provide mobility and flexibility to get into narrow spaces. Hand-Held Terminals (HHT) device requirements: Device that has been tested and confirmed to be compatible with the DPAS software. Operating System Microsoft��Windows� 10 IoT Enterprise. USB and HDMI connectors. 1D/2D Barcode reader. Must be able to support the required power requirement for each foreign country (ie, 110v, 220v, or 240v) Capable of supporting CAC enablement software; Built-in CAC reader. Small display: 6-8� viewing screen/touchscreen; Compact and handheld. Screen display that can receive input via stylus and touch. Capability to retain operator data for a minimum of five minutes without main battery power. Light weight 1-2 lbs and ergonomic, for hours of scanning equipment for up to 8 to 10 hours. One set of operation batteries. Tethered stylus. Able to handle large files. Easy to handle to scan barcodes in small spaces. Removable battery life of at least 10 hours. Wireless capability. Full alphanumeric keyboard capability. Integrated imager.
