Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE-SOURCE The 90th Contracting Squadron, F.E. Warren AFB, WY intends to award a single-source contract to QubicaAMF Worldwide, LLC, 8100 AMF Drive, Mechanicsville, VA 2311, United States; CAGE: 03NP2, to repair and replace the underlane ball return tracks for the bowling facility at F.E. Warren AFB, Wyoming. The anticipated contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) Commercial Purchase Order. The statutory authority which permits single-source for this acquisition is 41 united States Code (USC) 1901, as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This authority is supported by an approved Justification & Approval. It is the Government's intent to proceed with this single-source action. The applicable NAICS code is 339920 with a size standard of 750 employees. The 90th Contracting Squadron has a requirement to repair and replace the underlane ball return system. The bowling facility currently only uses QubicaAMF EDGE pinsetters on all of its lanes. Therefore, any replacement hardware needs to be compatible with the existing and functional equipment. A representative for QubicaAMF has stated that no authorized third-party vendors exist. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS OR QUOTATIONS; No solicitation package will be issued. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether conducting a competitive procurement is in the best interests of the Government. All responses received by 10:00 AM Montain Time, on 24 June 2022 will be considered by the Government. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals/quotes. All information submitted should support the offeror's capability to provide the stated requirements. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered.
