Description

The U.S. General Services Administration has a need for Custodial and Related Services at the Regional Office Building located at� 301 7th Street, SW , Washington , DC . A firm fixed price contract is contemplated utilizing Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 15.3� selection procedures. The total period of performance will consist of one (1) base year and four (4), one (1) year Options as well as the possibility of a 6 month extension. Options to extend the contract term will be based on the firm's performance in the previous year. The Government will reserve the unilateral right to exercise (or to not exercise) any option period.� This procurement will be chosen competitively utilizing source selection procedures with price/technical trade-offs under the Best Value Continuum. �This will be competitive� 8(a) set-aside under NAICS code 561720, Custodial/Janitorial Related Services. The annual Small Business Size Standard is $19.5 Million.� Under the awarded contract, the contractor shall provide all management, supervision, parts, material, labor, supplies, tools and equipment for all of the services described in the solicitation.�� The solicitation will request both technical and price proposals. All technical evaluation factors, when combined, are more� important� than� price. Contract award shall be made to the firm providing the best value to the Government and whose proposal conforms to the Solicitation requirements and is considered to be most advantageous to the Government, price and technical factors considered. The technical evaluation factors in no particular order of importance are: 1. Prior Experience, 2. Past Performance, and 3. Management Plan.� The Government intends to award the contract approximately in January� 2023.� The Government plans to make the award without discussion. Therefore, offerors are requested to submit their initial proposals to the Government on the most favorable terms based on technical and price factors. The Government reserves the right to conduct discussions if the Contracting Officer later determines them to be necessary The solicitation package (including specifications, offer forms, clauses and provisions) will only be available electronically on Sam.gov. It will be available on or after July 5, 2022. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and for monitoring the website for possible amendments and/or additional information. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in order to participate in this procurement. The website for SAM is http://www.sam.gov. Any information taken from other publications is used at the sole risk of the offeror.
