SDVOSBC Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Set-Aside (FAR 19.14)
 

Description

The purpose of this project is to remove the existing deer fence and install an 8-foot high chain-link fence in place of the current one at Laughlin Air Force Base (AFB), Texas. �The new fence will also include a section on the bottom 2-feet with a smaller fencing, which will continue into the ground to stop small animals from digging under the fence and accessing the airfield. Renew all existing signs. The gate will require the small animal resistance also. The project area are split into two, roughly parallel to the flight line. South Area of the project starts at Building 507 and stops before Gate G with an estimate of 6,820 linear feet. While the second area (northern part of base) starts inside the perimeter fence and stops before Gate J with an estimate of 1,565 linear feet. The acquisition will be set aside Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB). The NAICS code for the acquisition is 238990 and the applicable small business standard size is $16.5M. Any interested party may download a copy of the solicitation form this website once it has been released. Copies of the solicitation are not available for mailing. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. The Government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as a result of the solicitation. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to be eligible for award. Registration may be accomplished at the website, https://www.sam.gov.
