Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 9, on behalf of Lexington VAMC, Troy Bowling Campus, 1101 Veterans Drive, Lexington, KY 40502, is issuing this source sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to support this requirement for a firm-fixed priced contract for Mobile Containment with HEPA Filtration for ICRA Compliance Level I-IV. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 333413. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals or quotes; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. Scope/Need: Designed to accommodate two people in the contained space Standard end-entry 29 in. wide (fits through any 3.0 door) and 74"" long  Automated electric push button to raise and lower the unit Reaches up to 10 ft. 6 in. standard Two independent actuators provide the ability to seal to uneven ceilings and floors Actuator motors are stationary, enclosed, and easy to replace and service if necessary  Easy to set up and move in just 60 seconds  Pressure Indicator (manometer) Walk-off mat storage Work order/ICRA holder Adjustable extension ladder module Multiple tile adapter to expand workable space 3X Dust cover to keep cart clean in storage 120V, UL listed Medical grade HEPA filter with MERV 10 pre-filter Fabricated using durable, healthcare approved antimicrobial, anti-static, fire-resistant material Fully boxed aluminum frame with caster and wheel assembly.
