� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � �Special Notice� � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � � �Software Maintenance & Development & Data Analysis� This is not a solicitation.� This is a notification of an intent to award a single source procurement under NAICS code 541511.� The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Robert W. Holley Research Center for Agriculture and Health (RHRC) in Ithaca, NY will solicit and award a purchase order to�provide Software Development and Data Analysis in Support of Trait analysis by Association, Evolution, and Linkage (TASSEL) and the Practical Haplotype Graph (PHG) to develop genomic databases. The work involves supporting the maintenance and development of software developed by the project �Improving Crop Efficiency Using Genomic Diversity and Computational Modeling� (8062-21000-043-000-D) and providing analytical support for genetic and bioinformatic analysis. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide this requirement.��� The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), only one source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements.� If firms believe they have the technical capability to meet this need, submit a technical capability statement along with business profile to�Dilynn Rogers�at�dilynn.rogers@usda.gov�by�6/13/2022.�Any information received will be treated as market research information towards future similar or same requirements.� Quotations or proposals received in response to this notice will not be accepted since the synopsis is not a request for proposal.�� A determination to compete this action based on the responses received is in the sole discretion of the Government. All interested parties must express their interest and capabilities in writing via email to dilynn.rogers@usda.gov . No faxed documents will be accepted. If no responsive statements are received by�6/13/2022�at�10:00 AM EST, an award will be made to�Peter J. Bradbury.
