Description

The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1) and in accordance with FAR� 6.302-1(a)(2) to Cepeda Associates to provide technical services to PHNSY & IMF for the removal,�overhaul, and reinstallation of #1 and #2 scrubbers onboard a Virginia-class submarine. Cepeda Associates is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and is the only one that can perform this work onboard Naval 774 Class Submarines. The tentative period of performance is 01 August 2022 � 31 October 2023. In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought notice (ID# N32253-22-R-0013) was posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE), sam.gov, from 6 June 2022 � 8 June 2022 to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement. The Government received no responses from industry indicating capability in performing the requirements. � Note: This posting serves as a Pre-Solicitation notice in association with forthcoming solicitation N32253-22-R-0013. A Solicitation notice will be posted for this requirement in sam.gov. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2022-04, DFARS (last updated 01/30/2022), and NMCARS 18-21. This pre-solicitation notification does not constitute a request for proposals. Submission of any information in response to this notification is purely voluntary and the Government does not assume financial responsibility for any costs incurred.
