Description

Intent to Sole Source Synopsis FA465922Q0008 Sentinel DroneShield Integration The 319th Contracting Squadron, Grand Forks Air Force Base, intends to�award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Applied Research Associates, Inc.� This procurement is required in order to provide services to integrate the Installation Base Defense Security System (IBDSS) software (Sentinel) with the DroneShield system at Grand Forks AFB, ND. This procurement is intended to be awarded as a sole source due to the proprietary rights Applied Research Associates, Inc. has over the Sentinel equipment and software that will be integrated into the DroneShield system at Grand Forks AFB. The NAICS for this requirement is 561621 with a size standard of $22.0M. This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), Soliciting From A Single Source.� This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals.� A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract lies solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive requirement.� For information regarding this purchase, please contact Melissa Pearce at melissa.pearce.1@us.af.mil.
