- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is 1240BK22Q0081 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ), under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), Part 13.5. The NAICS code is 336211. The small business size standard is 1000 employees. This acquisition is a total small business set-aside. This solicitation is for a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2022-04, January 30, 2022. DESCRIPTION/STATEMENT OF WORK Scope of Contract.� The USDA Forest Service, Fremont-Winema Fleet Management, requires supply and install of two (2) truck service bodies to fit 2020 RAM 5500 Crew Cab DRW.� Freight is optional. � Delivery Location:� USDA Forest Service, Fremont-Winema Fleet Management, 1000 South 9th Street, Lakeview, OR 97630, located in Southern Oregon. Delivery Schedule:� Freight is optional.� Delivery shall be made to 1000 South 9th Street, Lakeview, OR on regular working days, Monday through Friday, between 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.��The Contractor shall notify the Fleet Manager, Stacey Havel 48 hours in advance of pick-up and delivery at 541-219-9781.� �Delivery shall be at the same time for all items unless there are delays in production due to scheduling or material acquisition. The Contractor shall coordinate with the Fleet manager if it is necessary to make multiple deliveries.�� Delivery Quantities:� Item 1. Supply and install�one�(1) utility body to fit 2020 Dodge Ram 5500 Crew Cab DRW, Vehicle EN 1035.�� Freight is optional. Item 2. Supply and install one�(1) utility body to fit 2020 Dodge Ram 5500 Crew Cab DRW, Vehicle EN 1036.� Freight is optional. Option Item 1.� Pick-up and Delivery of two Dodge Ram 5500�s, Lakeview Oregon 97630. SPECIFICATIONS Item 1.� See attached specification sheet and Schedule of Items. Item 2.�See attached specification sheet and Schedule of Items. Packing and Packaging Commercial: Material shall be packed for shipment in such a manner that will insure acceptance by common carrier and safe delivery at destination. Containers and closures shall comply with the Interstate Commerce Commission and Regulations, Uniform Freight Classification Rules, or Regulations of other carriers as applicable to the mode of transportation. CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION DATA Invoice Processing Platform (IPP).� The Forest Service is utilizing IPP for the electronic submission and tracking of contracts/purchase orders, invoices, and payment information.� IPP is a secure Web-based service for federal agencies and their vendors to manage government invoicing from purchase order through payment notification at no charge.� For more information go to�www.ipp.gov.
