- The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price, sole source purchase order on behalf of the United States Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory (USAARL) to Air Methods Corp- United Rotorcraft Division. located at 7301 South Peoria Englewood, CO 80112 under the authority as prescribed in FAR 13.106-1(b) (1), only one source reasonably available that will satisfy agency requirements. �This requirement is seven (7) Integrated Modular Medical Support Systems (IMMSS) component sets.� Each IMMSS component set consists of the following: (1) Litter Platform (PN: 868-1102-001); (1) Aft Litter Support Arm (PN: 868-1111); (1) Forward Arm Assembly Litter Support (PN: 868-1112); (1) Pin (PN: 900-7332); (1) Sub Assembly Fitting Stanchion (PN: 867-1116). All IMMSS component sets must be made for the left side of the aircraft. Six (6) additional patient restraint assemblies (PN: SK-965 SKED-EVAC) are required. Meets the system requirement for the MWO 1-1520-237-20-5, Modification Instructions for The Interim MEDEVAC Mission Support System (IMMSS) Patient Loading System on the UH-60 A/L Aircraft. Air Methods Corp-United Rotorcraft Division is the only vendor with access to the proprietary data to produce the components of the MPSS (Interim Modular Medical Support Systems [IMMSS]) system required to characterize the dynamic response and validate the data to historical crash responses.� This notice of intent is NOT a request for quotations (RFQ) and no solicitation document exists for the requirement; however, if a vendor challenges the basis for this requirement, please submit a capability statement that includes sufficient detail and with convincing evidence that clearly demonstrates the capability to provide these services. �A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� A request for documentation or additional information or submissions that only ask questions will not be considered as an affirmative response.� A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement or to proceed with a sole source procurement.
