- Description
- The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic, intends to award a sole source order to Gregory Poole Lift Systems, 1002 Bankton Circle. Hanahan, SC 29410. The order will acquire, on a sole source basis, repair of the following: Hyster Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) lift truck (model V30ZMU) - Disassemble right-side arm console; remove damaged wire harness and install new harness; assemble console. - Remove battery; service battery; reinstall battery back into unit. - Remove old/damaged motor compartment hood; install new hood and hardware and adjust accordingly. - Remove software from all controllers on unit; install latest software and recalibrate unit after battery has been serviced and reinstalled. Hyundai 15,000lb capacity forklift (model 70L-7A). - Remove the currently installed side shifter. - Install and plumb new side shifting fork positioner. Gregory Poole Lift Systems is the only company that the Government has been able to identify that can successfully perform the repairs. Repairs will be complete by September 2022. The estimated value of this procurement is <$250,000. This action is conducted under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1) for single source. The Government anticipates the award of a Firm-Fixed Price purchase order. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310, with an applicable size standard of $11M. This is a notice of intent and is not a request for competitive quotes. Any response to this notice is due in writing with sufficient information to establish capability to fulfill the requirements within fifteen (15) days of the date of this publication. Responses to this announcement may be submitted to elizabeth.m.scannell2.civ@us.navy.mil. A determination by the Government not to compete based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This action is conducted under FAR Part 13. System Award Management (SAM) registration is required for all vendors doing business with the Department of Defense (DOD).
