Description

This solicitation is for a contractor to provide a team of divers to perform demolition of fixed Aids to Navigation in Mobile Bay, Alabama. All work shall take place at three different locations on the water: (1) Mobile Channel B RFL - GPS position (30-15-26.283N; 088-02-28.558W) located at the mouth of Mobile Bay. (2) Mobile Channel B RRL - GPS position (30-15-44.102N; 088-02-32.075W) located at the mouth of Mobile Bay. (3) Mobile Channel D RFL - GPS position (30-26-45.235N; 088-00-40.684W) located at Middle Bay lighthouse. The contractor is to provide their own vessel for transit, tools, barge, crane, and underwater cutting equipment.� US Coast Guard will not be on scene to assist. Proposed period of performance is August 15th through September 2nd, 2022.� This performance period is negotiable.� Performance and payment bonds are not required. A firm fixed price construction contract will be issued to the offeror with the lowest priced offer.� This is set-aside 100% for small business.�� Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Department of Labor wage determination AL20220092 are attached and are applicable.
