Description

In accordance with Section 3.2.2.4 of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Acquisition Management System (AMS), the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis for the FAA�s decision to contract on a single source basis to Inventive Electronics, Inc. The FAA has a requirement for a Radar Environment Simulator (RES) four (4)-channel Radio Frequency level test target injection for Environment simulation on Mode A/C and Mode-S SSR Systems. The original equipment manufacturer (OEM) of the RES equipment is Intersoft Electronics, based in Belgium. Intersoft Electronics has one licensed provider within the United States; Inventive Electronics, Inc. No other company is authorized by Intersoft Electronics to sell, calibrate, maintain its equipment, or provide RES and RASS-R Onsite training. This announcement is for informational purposes only. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement. The FAA is not liable for any costs associated with the preparing of a response to this announcement.
