- 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group AMARG Business System (ABS) Upgrade and Enhancements Industry Day **Funds are not currently available for this requirement. This Industry Day is to identify viable future options for the 309 Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group Busyness Systems. The Governments obligation under the resultant contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds.** Introduction. The 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group (AMARG), Tucson, AZ will host an Industry Day on 17 August 2022, seeking interested and qualified vendors to provide upgrade options for AMARG Enterprise Application Systems from current state to allow digital transformation objectives. The contractor shall provide all necessary resources and travel to support the successful Industry demonstration for upgrades of the AMARG Business System (ABS). (See attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) for details of current operating systems and platforms and desired future state.) Background. 309 AMARG is a one-of-a-kind specialized facility within the Air Force Materiel Command structure. It provides critical aerospace maintenance and regeneration capabilities for Joint and Allied/Coalition warfighters in support of global operations and agile combat support for a wide range of military operations. Purpose. The purpose of the Industry Day is for the Government to provide interested vendors an overview of the requirements and technical exchange, and for development of the acquisition strategy and acquisition planning. The Government is not responsible for, nor will the Government pay for any portion of the costs associated with industry day attendance. One-on-One Sessions. 309 AMARG will also provide an opportunity for each vendor to conduct a 30 min (up to 1-hour) one-on-one session following the Industry Day breifing (time slots depend on number of attendees requesting one-on-one). The purpose of one-on-one sessions is to allow vendors an opportunity to openly communicate with the Government by providing comments and inputs early enough in the acquisition process for consideration during the development of the technical documentation package. Industry capabilities briefings shall not be included in the one-on-one discussion. The following are the planned dates and locations for events related to the industry day: Industry Day Agenda for Wednesday, 17 Aug 2022 8:30 10:00: Visitors Center Check-in 10:00 11:00: Welcome and requirements briefing 11:00 11:15: Break 1115 12:15: Group Q & A 12:15 13:00: Lunch (Not provided by Government) 13:00 17:30: Individual Sessions by appointment only (Time varies by number of attendees requesting individual session) AMARG Access Instructions. Participation shall be limited to a maximum of five (5) representatives for each interested vendor (including subcontractors and/or teaming members) to attend the Industry Day briefing and one-on-one sessions. Mrs. Jenkins will compile an attendee list consisting of name, company, email address and phone number. The listing will be provided to all attendees after Industry Day is completed. Attendees shall meet at the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base Visitors Center outside of the Craycroft Road gate at no later than 8:30 AM in a non-commercial vehicle. In order to gain access to the installation, all site visit attendees must bring current drivers license identification, current vehicle registration, current vehicle insurance, and personal social security number. Additionally, Pima County is currently at a COVID-19 Community health level of Medium. In the event that Pima County COVID-19 Community Health level rating spikes to a rating of High, face coverings will be required. In accordance with the Center for Disease Control guidance concerning the spread and control of COVID-19, conditions during the facilitation of the Industry Day may not allow for maintaining a distance of the recommended six (6) feet of social distance. Therefore, in addition to the required documents, all vendors must be prepared to bring a cloth face covering as recommended by the U.S. Surgeon General and be prepared to wear it if installation guidelines require it. Failure to meet or provide any of the items will result in the denial of installation access and reschedule requests will be denied. Draft Documents. The Government will attach draft PWS document to the Industry Day Notice on SAM.gov for vendor review. The review period will allow vendors to ask questions, clarify the Governments requirements, and provide comment(s) on the documents. If vendors would like to ask questions regarding the Industry Day or attached PWS, please provide questions by email to Mrs. Jenkins no later than Close of Business, 20 July 2022. Based on vendor feedback, the Government may elect to make changes to the draft documents.
