- AMC will host a Summer Industry Preview (SIP), at Scott AFB Illinois, 12-13 July 2022. �� � Objective of SIP �22 is to share AMC�s Focus Areas for the future in a symposium-like atmosphere, to inform independent industry research, engineering, and development efforts, and to serve as a stage setter for AMC-Industry Interface before the October Airlift/Tanker Association Symposium. SIP �22 will highlight AMC�s operational challenges to our DOD and Industry partners who can offer solutions in a symposium-like atmosphere, energized by hands-on immersive operational demonstrations to illustrate our challenges in AMC�s current focus areas of communication, survivability, and agility. �The aim is for our solution providers to listen/observe and then come back during A/TA�s Industry Day (October 2022) and offer their ideas to close our gaps. � Focus: �During this event, we will illustrate our operational challenges through a stage setter presentation, threat brief, Rehearsal of Concept (ROC) drill, and hands on flight line demos to illustrate some of the pain points our crews/support entities endure and overcome to make the Air Mobility mission happen. � � Venue: �General Duane Cassidy Conference Center (DCCC) and the Scott AFB flight line Administrative Information: �Beginning 21 June, AMC Industry POC�s will send confirmation emails to registrants which will include event information related to the location, tentative agenda, travel, and lodging. �Expect emails to come from HQ.AMC.IndustryEngagement@us.af.mil. � � �� FAQ�s: - Will industry partners be able to have booths/tables or give demonstrations during SIP?� � -- No, there will be no industry provided booths or demonstrations during SIP. - How many attendees can my company send to SIP?� � -- If we run into any space constraints, we will notify our registrants, via email, to limit their attendance � to four personnel. - �Registration closes 26 June 22 - �Registration: �https://einvitations.afit.edu/inv/index.cfm?i=663091&k=046741097256 Please direct all registration questions to our AMC Industry Liaison, Mr. Al Lambaria, or Mr. Jason Gist, SIP Registration POC, via email at HQ.AMC.IndustryEngagement@us.af.mil.
