- I. PROJECT DATA: TITLE: Renovate 4A for Nursing Admin and Nursing Education PROJECT No: 565-17-303 Construction duration: 365 Days Outline of Scope of Work: The Contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete Project 565-17-303, Renovate 4A for Nursing Admin and Nursing Education at the Fayetteville Veterans Affairs Medical Center in accordance with the plans and specifications. The project entails the renovation of approximately 8,940 GSF in the B-wing on the fourth floor of Building no. 1. The work includes but is not limited to the following: demolition of interior walls, ceiling grid, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, flooring, etc.; framing, drywalling, finishing and painting; mechanical ducts and piping; electrical; plumbing; exterior improvements; etc. Performance of this work shall meet all State, Federal, and Veterans Affairs regulations and requirements as indicated in the plans and specifications. Specific duties will include but are not limited to the following: Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures and perform work as required by the drawings and specifications. Visits to the site by Bidders may be made only by appointment with the VISN6 Centralized Acquisition Services Contracting Specialist or his designated COR. All employees of general contractor and subcontractors shall comply with VA security management program and obtain permission of the VA police, be identified by project and employer, and restricted from unauthorized access. Bidders are to report to the COR to obtain day badges. Upon award of the contract, VA issued Contractor work badges are to be requested from the COR prior to commencing any work. Badges must always be worn when at the facility. (Any ID badge that is lost must be reported to the COR.) VA WAREHOUSE WILL NOT RECEIVE OR STORE ANY PROJECT RELATED EQUIPMENT OR MATERIALS. Hours of Operation: Work will be performed between the hours of 7:00am-5:00pm, Monday-Friday. Some work may be performed at different hours when approved by COR. ---END---
