- 316 CONTRACTING SQUADRON NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD SOLE SOURCE Requirement Title: �Joint Base Andrews Open House Pyrotechnics RFQ: FA286022Q0036 THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to solicit and award a sole source contract under statutory authority 10 USC 2304(c)(1), set forth in Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The 316th Contracting Squadron (316 CONS) intends to solicit and award a sole source contract to The Commemorative Air Force (CAF) Tora Bomb Squad to preform pyrotechnic displays of approximately 20 total minutes in duration, daily during the 2022 JB Andrews Open House, September 16-18 2022. The contractor shall perform a single show on the rehearsal day 16 September 2022 and a show each day on 17 and 18 September, 2022. �The resultant action will result in a firm fixed price contract for this requirement. �The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of responses to this notice. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See the attached Justification and Approval for Sole Source for additional information Availability of Funds 52.232-18: Availability of Funds. Funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government�s obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. Parties interested in this announcement shall provide detailed information of their capabilities and certifications to clearly meet the requirements stated above. Responses will be via email, to include the company�s name, point of contact, address, phone number, DUNS number, Tax ID, business size, and CAGE code. NOTE: If documents are sent via e-mail, the contractor will be responsible for validating Government receipt by contacting the Contract Specialist below. No solicitation is available and telephone request for information will not be taken. All responses must be received before 27 June 2022 1000 EST.
