Description

This Special Notice is to inform that the U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration intends to award a sole source purchase order to Comcast for cable services. The anticipated period of performance is 1 July, 2022 to 30 June, 2023. All communication regarding this posting shall be in writing and received on or before June 30, 2022. Point of Contact is Julian Green at ernest.m.mbandi@dea.gov The proposed purchase order is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with Comcast. In accordance with Competition in Contracting Act, 41 USC 253(c)(1), as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements. The following FAR Part 12.3 provisions and clauses are applicable to this acquisition: 52.212-4 (Nov 2021) Contract Terms and Conditions- Commercial Products and Commercial Services The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquistion.gov/far. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) is 515210. The Government anticipates the award of a firm-fixed price purchase order. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice of intent is not a request for competition quotation. A Request of Quotation (RFQ) is not available. This is not a RFQ. Any source capable of providing the supplies and interested in submitting a capability statement may do so electronically to ernest.m.mbandi@dea.gov.
