Description

The purpose of this requirement is to provide the two Viasat Multi Mission Terminal (MMT) and one Land Mobile Terminal (LMT-7611) that 3d Marine Littoral Regiment, Marine Corps Base Hawaii, possesses with high capacity bandwidth. �The plan is to provide the two Viasat Multi Mission Terminals High Capacity Ka-Band (HCKa) �Priority Nomadic Roaming Service which covers North� and Central America (to include Hawaii) and the Caribbean.� This plan must provide the MMT with priority access to High Capacity Ka-Band commercial network over North America (to include Hawaii), Central America and Caribbean.� The plan must support nomadic roaming of the MMTs anywhere within the coverage area, with data rates up to 15 Mbps on the Forward Link and up to 5 Mbps on the Return Link.� The plan must include support from Viasat�s Network Operation Center (NOC).� Additionally, the plan must simultaneously include VGNet Ku-Band CONUS Roaming Service to the LMT-7611 commercial satellite terminal.� This service must provide up to 4 Mbps Forward Link and 1 Mbps Return Link and 50 GB per month for the terminal during the period of performance.� See Attachment 1, Subscription Requirements, for additional information.� See Limited Sources Justification. .
