- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Request for Quotations number is 70Z08522P1914200 and is issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This Request for Quotations incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-84 dated Nov 1, 2015. The NAICS Code is 336611. The Small Business Size Standard is 1250. This is a total small business set aside. All responsible sources may submit proposals that will be considered by the agency. The contract will be awarded on a firm-fixed-price basis using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR Part 13.5. **For purposes of evaluation and award, Past Performance is considered to be more important than Price. Offerors shall submit quotes as follows � Date: JUNE 24TH, 2022 Time: 0800 Pacific Standard Time (PST) Place: William.a.swordjr@uscg.mil REQUIRED DOCUMENTS: Each Offeror shall furnish the information required by the solicitation, which includes: Section 1: Price quote including cost breakdown. ANTICIPATED AWARD DATE:� The contract is expected to be awarded on or about 06/24/2022. Scope of Work: CGC Stratton Cofferdam Install and Removal Background: Upon inspection IAW DISCREP 22019 - Doppler Speed Log, SF found that the doppler speed log transducer gate valve assembly (valve and flange in void 5-10-0-V leaks by, and needs to be replaced (valve was overhauled in STR's FY21 DD, via WI 28). Request SFLC-LREPL-AM procure new gate valve, coordinate cofferdam production, and coordinate diver services to install new gate valve and inspect/align transducer IAW DISCREP 22019 Statement of Work: Furnish a 3-man commercial dive team in accordance with OSHA and USCG regulations to furnish and install (1) fitted cofferdam to seal off the Doppler Speed Log opening that is between frame 16 and 14 and is 14 11/16� in diameter. Crew will return after repairs and remove cofferdams and all attachments. NOTE: Actual cost for added services and travel will be billed at the conclusion of work. This will come via Condition Found Report. Parts: ����������� The Coast Guard (procured by OEM in separate Purchase Order) will provide the following parts. N/A Note: tech rep needs to be wearing a N95 mask, latex gloves, monitoring body temperature and reporting any Covid-19 symptoms.
