Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The purpose of this notice of intent (NOI) is to inform industry contractors of the Government�s intent to award a sole source, firm fixed-price (FFP) contract,�IAW with the procedures at FAR Parts 12 and 13. The intended Contractor is Astronics Test Systems Inc. located at 12889 Ingenuity Dr., Orlando, FL 32826.� Tobyhanna Army Depot, Tobyhanna, PA 18466, has a requirement for the preventative and remedial maintenance of Factron S720 Automated Testers. The proposed requirement is for a 5 year contract, including 1 base year and 4 option years. This procurement is being conducted using commercial item procedures pursuant to FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is, 811219.� The Product of Service Code for this requirement is J066.� This notice of intent is neither a formal solicitation nor a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be honored. No award will be made on the basis of unsolicited quotations or offers received in response to this notice. Any response to this notice must show clear, compelling, and convincing evidence that competition will be advantageous to the Government. The intent of this synopsis is for informational purposes only. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this action based on this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All inquiries and concerns must be addressed in writing via e-mail to mark.buonomo2.civ@army.mil, with the following information referenced in the subject line, Notice of Intent W25G1V-22-R-0042. All interested parties who are responsible, certified, and capable may identify their interest and must submit a capability statement which shall be reviewed by the Government in order to determine offer capability.� Responses must be received by the agency no later than 12:00 PM EST on July 6, 2022 to mark.buonomo2.civ@army.mil� �The interested parties bear full responsibility to ensure complete transmission and timely receipt.
