Description

PROJECT 564-17-140 - RENOVATE MED/SURG WARDS 2A/2B - VHSO The Contractor must furnish all management, supervision, labor, material, equipment, tools, supplies, consumables, parts, and related services, in accordance with the SOW, drawings, and specifications to be complete and working Renovation of Med/Surg Units 2A and 2B in Main Hospital Building One (1) for inpatient units on the VHSO Main Campus 1100 N. College Avenue, Fayetteville, AR 72703. Convert all rooms into single patient rooms to meet the VA�s guidelines to furnish patient privacy. This project proposes to renovate approximately 20,000 square feet to include patient rooms and nursing support areas. This renovation will incorporate Planetree principles, VA SEPS, and comply with all VA, National, State, and Local codes. Complete demolition and renovation, including but not limited to, the following: furnish an isolation and anteroom, private patient room and bathrooms, Bariatric room, inpatient unit support spaces, new lights, ceilings, floors, doors and hardware, paint, hand rails, cove base, wall protection, millwork, finishes, bedside computers, TVs, nurse call system, MEP, phasing plans and coordination drawings, and commissioning of all renovated systems. This work will be accomplished in multiple phases and will require extensive coordination with operations in the spaces above and below to modify plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems. HVAC duct must be replaced, and the system rebalanced. Electric service to the wards will be separated into branches in accordance NEC and electrical panels replaced. Hard copies of SOW, drawings, and specifications must be the Contractor�s responsibility and expense. Contractor is responsible to verify existing and new dimensions, locations, and quantities to complete this project.
