Description

This is a notice of intent, not a request for a quotation. A solicitation document will not be issued and quotations will not be requested. The National Institute of Health (NIH), Clinical Center (CC), Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences intends to solicit a quote and enter into firm-fixed price for Thrombectomy Set Catheters and Over the wire stents and balloons, with Boston Scientific Corporation.� The Interventional Radiology (IR) Section in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences requires the procurement of Boston Scientific Charger/Mustang Balloon Dilatation Catheters and vascular stents. These devices provide radiologists multiple options for treating arterial and venous stenosis and used for percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) of lesions in peripheral arteries, including the iliac, renal, popliteal, infrapopliteal, femoral, and iliofemoral arteries, as well as obstructive lesions of native or synthetic arteriovenous dialysis fistulae. Boston Scientific�s innovative solutions are designed to work together seamlessly for ease of use and increased control, helping to provide enhanced procedural efficiency. This acquisition is being conducted using policies unique to the acquisition of commercial items prescribed in FAR Part 12, in conjunction with the policies and procedures for the competition requirements of Part 6. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this posting. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Comments to this announcement, referencing this posting number, may be submitted to the CC, Office of Purchasing and Contracts, prior to the closing date, June 30, 2022 at 12:00 EST specified in this announcement, electronically to the attention of Noelle DeCenzo, Contract Specialist, Noelle.decenzo@nih.gov by the due date and time marked in this notice.
