Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Health Administration (VHA) Sources Sought Notice Obtain and integrate Lynx Duress Alarms This is a Sources Sought notice and not a request for quotes. This request is solely for the purpose of conducting market research to enhance VHA s understanding of your company s offered services and capabilities. The Government will not pay any costs for responses submitted in response to this Source Sought Notice. This Sources Sought notice provides an opportunity for respondents to submit their capability and availability to provide the service requirement described below. Vendors are being invited to submit information relative to their potential to fulfill this requirement, please provide the following information: Company Name DUNS / UEI Capability Statement GSA Contract Number (if applicable) Any other information you wish to share The Veterans Health Administration (VHA) is seeking to obtain and integrate Lynx Duress Alarms for the Department of Veterans Affairs Massachusetts (see General Requirement section below for locations). The standard of services shall be of quality; meeting or exceeding those outlined in General Requirements section below. Refer to the General Requirements section below for the requested service description. This Sources Sought is to facilitate the Contracting Officer s review of the market base, for acquisition planning, size determination, and procurement strategy. General Requirements: The VA Central Western Massachusetts requires duress alarms in all Primary Care Exam rooms and certain other spaces due to the transition to new clinic model. This requires the procurement, installation, and integration of Lynx Duress Alarms. This shall include two leased spaces and areas on Edward P. Boland VAMC. Location of Facility: Pittsfield Community Based Outpatient Clinic 78 Center Street Silvio Conte Building, 2nd Floor Pittsfield, MA 01201-5692 Belmont Street Community Based Outpatient Clinic 403 Belmont Street, 1st Floor Worcester, MA 01604-1020 Central Western Massachusetts (Edward P. Boland Primary Care) 421 North Main Street Leeds, MA 01053-9764 PROJECT SCOPE OF WORK Work shall consist of: Procurement of Lynx (wireless and hard wired) Duress Alarms for every location on the Clinic Drawings (see attachments 1-4). This includes the following tasks: Provide Hard Wired (LYNX-NET-P2) and Wifi (LYNX-N-PB-M) enabled Lynx Duress Alarms per drawings. Provide technician to integrate with VA Network and demonstrate each device is connected and able to be monitored per existing VA System located in Building 25 on the Edward P. Boland Campus in Leeds, MA. General Breakdown by location, quantity and type: Pittsfield CBOC: Installation of 14 Hard-Wired units to include integration. Belmont Street CBOC: Integration of 29 units (Units at this site have already been installed in all rooms with an exam table). Edward P. Boland Primary Care: Installation of 28 Hard-wired units to include integration. This installation will take place upon the completion of construction tentatively expected to be March 2023. Edward P. Boland Acute Mental Health: Installation of 10 Wireless units to include integration. Test each newly installed and or integrated device to confirm proper working condition. Work will be in accordance with applicable VHA and OSHA standards and regulations. Installation and any site visits shall be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance with VA Facilities Management. All on site work is expected to occur outside of business hours (0800-1730 weekdays or weekends) at times and dates agreed upon by the VA point of contact. The performance period for this work is 9 months from time of award, unless other time frames are approved in writing by the contracting office.
