Description

This project is at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center located at 1500 Weiss Street in Saginaw, Michigan. The intent of the project is to replace the two existing chiller units and the chilled water system circulating pumps that serve Building 22. The existing chillers are mounted atop a steel chiller platform structure on the roof above the 1st floor dining room and outside of the 2nd floor mechanical room. The existing chilled water piping runs from the chiller units back into the 2nd floor mechanical room through the south facing exterior wall. The existing chilled water system circulating pumps are located in the 2nd floor mechanical room. The new chiller units will be placed atop the existing steel chiller platform structure and the new chilled water system circulating pumps will go on the existing housekeeping pads in the 2nd floor mechanical room.
