Description

Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) has a requirement to procure service contract for the Magnetoencephalography (MEG) System.� Neuro-Kinetics, Inc., is the sole proprietor of and sole source for the Magnetoencephalography (MEG) System and no other company is authorized to service this equipment.� The system is also known as the �Neuromag VectorView� MEG system along with their �Neuromag TRIUX� MEG system. The service contract is designed to provide the MEG system full coverage maintenance including emergency visits, regular preventive maintenance visit in order to maintain the maximum possible system uptime and optimum system performance.� Service includes technical assistance for hardware and software questions, as well as a specialist visits, annual planned maintenance and software fix updates and upgrades as well as the spare parts and unique components. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS and no solicitation exists for this requirement. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit technical data, including cost and capabilities, sufficient to determine a contractor's ability in providing the same service. All capability statements received by closing of this notification of this synopsis will be considered by the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� A copy of the Justification and Approval will be posted no later than fourteen (14) days after award.
