Description

This is a Solicitation (RFP)�for a competitive procurement set-aside for small business. The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) has a requirement entitled, �Infrastructure Materials Laboratories (IML) Support Services.� The Contractor(s) shall conduct advanced IML operations research and development projects and tasks in support of the FHWA mission and activities, as needed on a Task Order basis. Infrastructure Materials Research laboratories are located at the Turner-Fairbank Highway Research Center (TFHRC). Additional information on the supported labs can be found at https://highways.dot.gov/research/turner-fairbank-highway-research-center/laboratories/laboratories-overview#Infrastructure-Labs. The Government anticipates multiple, Indefinite Delivery Indefinity Quantity (IDIQ) contracts to be awarded for these Research & Development services with an anticipated ordering period of 60 months. The NAICS code is 541715- Research and Development in the Physical, Engineering, and Life Sciences (except Nanotechnology and Biotechnology).�Task Orders will be Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Firm-Fixed Price (FFP), or a hybrid of both.
