- **************************************************************************************************** Amendment 0001 to W31P4Q-22-U-0009 extends the deadline for quote submission to 30 June 2022.� All other terms and conditions remained unchanged. **************************************************************************************************** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The proposed contract listed herein is a 100 percent small business set-aside. By U.S. law, participation in small business set-asides is restricted to U.S. small businesses; therefore, foreign requests for this solicitation will not be honored. Solicitation number W31P4Q-22-U-0009 is being issued as a request for quote. �The U.S. Army Contracting Command intends to issue a firm-fixed-price purchase order to a small business for the repair of an exterior building elevator. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-06. This requirement is for the repair of an exterior building elevator, the contractor shall perform/provide the following: �� - Pumping Unit Replacement �� - Controller Replacement �� - Switch Replacement �� - Preventative maintenance on existing parts �� - System performance and safety verification The anticipated period of performance is four months after award. An extension to the period of performance can be requested, if needed, due to the availability of parts based on the age of the elevator. Tour of the Elevator: During the week of June 20th, the Government will provide a tour of the elevator which will include time for potential offerors to ask questions about the elevator.� This will be the only time for offerors to tour the facility and ask questions about the solicitation.� The Government will not provide any notes, minutes, etc. pertaining to the tour. Due of the uniqueness of the elevator, the Army Contracting Command-Redstone is requiring all potential offerors that have not previously visited the location to have at least one representative in attendance.� The Government believes a reasonable or technically acceptable quote cannot be produced without an examination of this elevator.� Each company planning on attending the tour must RSVP no later than 3:00 PM CST on 21 June 2022.� To RSVP, one must send an email to Tammy J. Benson, email: tammy.j.benson.civ@army.mil, stating the company�s name, CAGE Code and/or UEI number, its planned attendance with a minimum of one representative, and the ability of each representative to access Redstone Arsenal.� Directions to the elevator for the tour and information about acquiring access to the arsenal (if needed) will be provided after receipt of the RSVP. Offerors shall submit a 2-3 page proposal that demonstrates previous experience on repairing elevators and contains a firm-fixed-price quote including all labor, materials, and travel required. Proposals should include a description of the hardware replacement parts that will be utilized to include part numbers if applicable. The following Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) will be included in the subsequent award: -���������� CLIN 0001 - Supply/Service CLIN - This CLIN will be issued for the total acquisition of the required repair services to include the replacement of the pumping unit, the controller, and the switch. -���������� CLIN 0002 � Service Contract Reporting (SCR) - See the attached performance work statement for the SCR requirements. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award. Quotes are due no later than 3:00 PM CST, 30 June 2022 in the contracting office. Electronic quotes may be submitted to Tammy J. Benson at tammy.j.benson.civ@army.mil. �Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. NO FOREIGN PARTICIPATION IS ALLOWED. All responsible small business sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. In the event multiple quotes are received, the quotes will be evaluated on the basis of lowest price, technically acceptable. All quotes should also include a copy of your commercial pricelist or price support along with your CAGE code, Taxpayer Identification Number, and UEI number.
