Description

The F-35 Joint Program Office intends to award a sole source contract to Raytheon Technologies/Pratt and Whitney Military Engines, East Hartford, CT in support of the F135 Annual Sustainment program. �This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1. �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. �Raytheon Technologies/Pratt and Whitney Military Engines, is the original designer, developer, and manufacturer of the F135 propulsion system. �The contract is anticipated to be awarded during the first quarter of fiscal year (FY) 2025 and supports the F-35 Joint Program U.S. Services, Non-U.S. DoD Partners, and Foreign Military Sales from FY25 to FY34.� This notice of intent is neither a request for proposal nor a solicitation of offers. �Based upon any responses to this notice, the Government reserves the right to process this procurement action on a sole source basis.
