Description

The Indian Health Service (IHS), Portland Area Office intends to award one (1) firm fixed price purchase order for Private Insurance (PI) verification solution to a single source, Change HealthCare Operations, LLC in pursuant to FAR subpart 13.106-1(b). This solution has been part of the Statement of Work but it hasn�t been utilized by the Service Unit.� Chemawa Indian Health Center has three (3) contracts in place with this company in order to bill PI companies for Medical, Dental and Pharmacy services. For consistency and to assure we obtain the correct coverage data from the PI companies Chemawa bill, Chemawa needs to utilize the same company. Verifying Private coverage is critical to billing accurately. This service will automate the Service Unit�s verification of Private Insurance. The Portland Area Indian Health Service complies with the Buy Indian Act as well. This rule supplements the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). The only known source available that can complete the contract requirements is Change HealthCare Operations, LLC. The estimated period of performance is from 07/01/2022 to 06/30/2027 including four (4) option terms. The NAICS code is 541990 and the small business size standard does not apply. No solicitation document exists for this requirement. No responses to the notice of intent to single source are anticipated.
