- Description
- The Government has a requirement for a firm-fixed price contract for two (2) each NSN: 5180-01-398-1040, Kit, Tube, Swaging, P/N 17G453396-1, with three (3) annual Options for a quantity of 2 each. The C-17 Aircraft has four different 4,000 PSI hydraulic systems. Hydraulic fluid is routed to the various hydraulic components in the aircraft by means of seamless titanium alloy tubes. There is a requirement to field-repair damaged tubes and fittings on the C-17 Aircraft. Various sizes of tubing are used for pressure, return, and suction lines of the hydraulic system, depending on the application demand. It will also be necessary to repair the aluminum oxygen tubes and fittings. The tube sizes required to be field-repaired are as follows: -4, -5, -6, -8, -10, -12, -16, -20, and -24. �A means is required at the intermediate level of maintenance to repair damaged tubes and/or fittings in the hydraulic and oxygen systems. Delivery is FOB Destination with shipment within the continental United States. This requirement will be solicited sole source to Eaton Aeroquip, LLC. (00624) in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. Subcontracting opportunities may be available for responsible sources. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The RFP will not be posted on SAM.gov. Contractors desiring a copy of the RFP should submit via email a written request to philip.earthly.1@us.af.mil and clevetta.brown@us.af.mil . No telephone requests will be honored. The Government will utilize the Past Performance Information Retrieval System (PPIRS), Excluded Parties List System (EPLS), and other Government databases to determine contractor status before evaluating proposals. Proposals will be evaluated based on the criteria stated in the RFQ. All data for this weapon system is considered EXPORT CONTROLLED. It is anticipated that the RFP will be released on or around 27 June 2022.
