Description
MENT OF WORK: INTRODUCTION/BACKGROUND: Neurology Service requires seven ambulatory Electrophotography (EEG) monitoring systems to Updated outdated equipment and increase access to EEG ambulatory procedures and impact a higher number of patients. The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to outline the tasks and responsibilities of the awarded contractor concerning provisions, installation, integration, and implementation of equipment for an EEG system and Windows software upgrade at the James A. Haley VAMC, Tampa, FL. The contractor must provide all necessary tools, equipment/hardware, software, licenses, installation, warranty, and training following this SOW. Primary Goals: This procurement is to procure a complete EEG system including equipment, accessories, review stations, licenses, and software to expand the patient capacity of the current Government-owned EEG system.    Equipment: All equipment must be new, state of the art, and not recertified nor refurbished. All equipment must comply with current VA requirements for allowable operating system platforms.   Industry Standards: Unless otherwise stated, all equipment must be held to current industry standards for such equipment as present within the current market for EEG system equipment, supplies, and related services. The contractor must meet all requirements in the Equipment Minimum Requirements section. The requested equipment is the most recent generation for easy portable electroencephalography Machines. The latest technology will provide Neuro physicians with the appropriate tools to better diagnose and treat diseases and neurological conditions in the ambulatory setting. The purchase of this equipment will bring multiple benefits to our patients and the institution. First, it will guarantee that our patients receive an outstanding evaluation and treatment in this specialty area. Scope of Work: The requested vendor will install new equipment with the support of Biomedical personnelBiomed is aware? I reached out Julie Lybanon and she said When new equipment is received it must first be inventoried by Property Management. That automatically triggers a work order for inspection to Biomed. . EEG Systems use electrodes placed on a patient's scalp to measure, amplify, and display in graphic form, and record the weak electrical signals generated by the brain. EEG monitors continuously show processed EEG signals in visual form over time to detect waveform and pattern changes. EEG Systems are used for diagnostic EEG studies, documenting seizure activity, assessing anesthesia levels, polysomnography, and monitoring patients in critical care units and operating rooms. Equipment Minimum Requirements: EEG System: Must be EEG/Sleep Acquisition Desktop with IP PTZ1080p HD Color/BW Camera on ErgoJust Cart. Must have 24in FP Monitor. Must have Medical Grade UPS with Isolation 110V ErgoJust Cart. Must have LED Photic Stimulator. Must have LED Photic Stimulator with Stand. Must have extended Video Monitoring Controllers. Must provide the computer with an Encrypted Hard Drive Medical Grade UPS with Isolation (North America 5-15 HG plug). EMU40/Brain Monitor Wall Mount Kit. NeverMiss Dual Video Recording License (per Station) MS Word Report Editor for Neuroworks/Sleepworks Installation Considerations: All labor, training, and maintenance will occur at the JAHVA Neurology Section facility under JAHVA policies.  IT systems configuration and implementation, including setup and training for up to 7 acquisition systems. The contractor must comply with all VA mandated and local permitted/safety requirements. Neurology Service shall limit access to those individuals requiring access to perform functions related to this equipment. Delivery of the equipment will be NLT 120 days ARO.
