- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial off-the-shelf�Library Services Platform (LSP)�for the Coast Guard Academy in accordance FAR Subpart 12.6. The combined Synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is 60100PR220001990 utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR Part 13. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circulars. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this soliciatyion is attached.� In order to maintain library performance, provide modern services for their patrons, and improve academic success, the USCGA Library requires a new Library Services Platform (LSP). A new LSP will improve system security as well as streamline and automate workflows. The LSP must be a cloud-based system that is compliant with all Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and United States Coast Guard (USCG) security requirements.� Additionally, the existing ProQuest�s Summon discovery service shall be replaced with a new discovery service to effectively synchronize with the new LSP IAW attached SOW.
