Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Office of the Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO) on behalf of its Office of Process Management intends to award a sole source contract for OPTINOTA-H PRESS (ONH) OPERATOR FOIL SAVE TRAINING. The Government intends to award a sole source contract item peculiar to one manufacturer utilizing �Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements� IAW FAR Subpart 6.302-3 Expert Services. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The BEP has a requirement to establish a contract for the contractor to provide Optinota-H press Cutting Unit II operator training for up to six (6) previously Optinota-H trained BEP personnel. Training will be conducted on the Optinota-H press located at the WCF in Fort Worth Texas for two (2) weeks (10 days). The estimated dollar amount is $23,175. This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The solicitation will not be posted. To be considered, responses MUST be received NO LATER THAN 11:00AM, EASTERN STANDARD TIME, July 8, 2022. Additionally, interested sources must be registered and currently active in the System for Award Management (SAM), found at https://www.sam.gov. Responses MUST be submitted within the closing date/time of publication of this notice.
