Description
This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS AND SOLICITATION Description Work for this project requires the contractor to be responsible for supplying all labor, materials, equipment, utilities, miscellaneous items, freight and delivery and all necessary valid licenses and permits for the following: The work being performed is to replace all water damage items inside the bunkhouse and in the crawl space. The work being performed is stated as such but is not limited to removing and replacing all damaged linoleum and hardwood flooring with vinyl plank flooring, sections of trim in the hallway and bathrooms, all water damaged kick strips on the kitchen cabinets, and fallen and damaged and dirty insulation in the crawl space. Any insulation found to contain mold shall be removed and replaced and disposed of offsite at a landfill that accepts hazardous waste. A non-destructive leak detection test shall also be performed to find any leaks in all plumbing (waste, supply, and vent). The order of work to be performed is to conduct the leak test first before doing any flooring or insulation repairs. �The Contractor shall also evaluate the project site for mold and submit a written report that includes test results and recommendations for remediation of the mold prior to starting work. Project Location: From Colorado Springs, Colorado, take I-25 north for about 20 miles, then take exit 161 towards Monument, Colorado. Turn left onto CO-105 W and continue straight onto 2nd street. Turn left onto Mitchell Avenue and continue for about 0.8 miles. Turn right onto Mount Herman Road and continue straight until the road turns to dirt. Turn left into the fire center, the sign is on the right-hand side of the road. 3751 Mount Herman Road, Monument, Colorado 80132 In accordance with FAR 36.204, the estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000 Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a proposal and to be considered for award.
