- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Products Supports, Inc. (CAGE: 53247) for the procurement of one (1) Refueling Coupling Tester, Part Number 81015-1, NIIN: 01-483-2490 for the Royal Australian Air Force EA/18 G Growler Program. The procurement will be issued under the authority of Foreign Military Sales case AT-P-SCI, Letter of Offer and Acceptance dated 04 July 2013 between the United States Government and the Royal Australian Air Force. The aerial Refueling Coupling Tester is used to test operation of the drogue coupling used during aerial refueling operations. The test kit consists of a tester, plug assembly, test cap assembly, reel cable assembly, and two hoses. These parts are stowed and transported in the transit case. Part Number 81015-1 is used during the maintenance checks of MA-4 coupling. Draining and priming of pod AAR hose with fuel or oil. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate this requirement under the authority of 10 USC 2304(c)(1), FAR 6.302-1 - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. However, the Government will consider all responses received within fifteen (15) days after the date of publication of this synopsis. Registration in the System for Award Management (SAM) (https://www.sam.gov) is mandatory for consideration. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. Information provided herein is subject to change and in no way binds the Government to solicit for an award of a contract. Responses must be received within fifteen (15) days of publication of this notice via email no later than 12 July 2022 at 11:00 A.M. EDT to Shara Ruth at shara.j.ruth.civ@us.navy.mil. Content should be limited to ten (10) pages.�
