Description
ANSWERS TO VENDOR QUESTIONS: 1. It specifies there is no water piping. Can you please clarify you mean there will be no restrooms, sinks or any other plumbing in this facility? The only thing we will have is a portable hand washing station. No other plumbing. 2. It specifies there are normal 30-amp feeds. We were actually asking what the total amperage of the existing MDP on site is whether it be a 400 AMP, 600 AMP, etc. Please clarify. 200 amperage is currently what is being used. 3. A geotechnical report is a survey of the ground for the intended site which would help us to determine the type of foundation needed for the building. Please let us know the type of surface the building will go on. And also can you please clarify if an industry standard two-cell CMU pier foundation placed atop ABS pads is acceptable? There is no foundation. It is paved concrete where the trailer will go. We need a further explanation about ABS Pads. It doesn t appear we would need what is being proposed. 4. It specifies 8 rooms total and if needed, one of the patient rooms can be an office. Can you please clarify you mean all 8 rooms are intended to be patient rooms with one of them being able to be converted to an office? Yes, all patient rooms with one being able to be converted. 5. Additionally, there was a request for flex walls to create private rooms. Is this requirement still applicable to the project or are you wanting hard walled offices for what we assume would be patient rooms? If the flex walls are still needed, is there any STC ratings needed to be met? Flex walls, but drywall would also work if necessary. Either way works. 6. Can you please advise is there a need to furnish some or all of this temporary facility as well? No need for furnishings. 7. Is there an incumbent? If so, are they eligible to re-compete for this solicitation? Do you know if they plan to recompete? This is a new solicitation. 8. Can you please provide a map to where this modular building will go to. We also want to make sure there s enough clearance to bring in the trailer. See Attachments 9. Is there currently a Modular Building there now, or is this a new requirement? This is new equipment. There s a tent there now which we re going to take down.
