Description

DLA Aberdeen anticipates issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about May 13, 2022, for the following item listed below to support various Night Vision Devices to protect both the user and equipment from a laser threat environment.� The NAICS code is 333314. The proposed contract type is a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract with one five-year base period. FAR Part 15 will apply to this acquisition. The RFP will be unrestricted. The item listing below is in the format: NSN, P/N, Nomenclature. 5855-01-379-1410, 5009737, Filter, Infrared Light Annual Best Estimate Quantity (BEQ) is as follows: Year 1 � 19,087 Year 2 � 19,904 Year 3 � 19,903 Year 4 � 19,904 Year 5 � 19,903 Note: The annual BEQ is listed for planning purposes only.� Actual annual ordered quantities may be more or less than the annual BEQ. The Government owns the Technical Data Package (TDP), which is the Light Interference Filter Performance Specification, for this item.� The TDP is classified; therefore, potential sources will have to request and receive authorization prior to the TDP being provided. First Article Test (FAT) will be required, which will be detailed in the solicitation. An Offeror may request a FAT waiver if meets certain conditions. DD254 Contract Security Classification Specification A DD254 Contract Security Classification Specification is part of this requirement and will be included in the RFP. To be eligible for award, an Offeror will be required to have access to classified data. The required Facility Security Clearance (FCL)/Level of Safeguarding for Classified Information/Material is SECRET/SECRET. Classified Reading Room An appointment at the classified reading room at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD is available, upon request, for review of the classified SECRET Light Interference Performance Specification. International Traffic in Arms Regulations Night Vision Devices and components, and their associated technical data, are restricted from export by the International Trafficking in Arms Regulation (ITAR), Part 121, Category XII. The TDP is subject to the Internal Traffic in Arms Regulations.
